Step 1: Install the Extension
Install Agent OS from the Chrome Web Store and pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access.
Step 2: Configure Your AI Provider
Open the extension side panel and configure your preferred AI provider:
- OpenAI: Get your API key from platform.openai.com
- Anthropic: Get your API key from console.anthropic.com
- Google Gemini: Get your API key from Google AI Studio
- Groq: Get your API key from console.groq.com
Step 3: Start Automating
Type your task in natural language and let Agent OS handle the automation! Examples:

How do I get started with Agent OS?

Do I need an API key?
Yes, Agent OS requires an API key from one of the supported AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or Groq). The free tier provides 5 actions, after which you'll need to upgrade to Premium for unlimited usage.
What's the difference between Free and Premium?
The free version allows 5 automation actions to test the extension. Premium ($19.99) provides unlimited actions, priority support, and access to all features without restrictions.
Is my data safe?
Yes! Agent OS processes data locally in your browser. Your API keys are stored securely in Chrome's encrypted storage. We only communicate with our servers for premium license validation. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
What can Agent OS automate?
Agent OS can automate virtually any browser task: web scraping, form filling, data extraction, navigation, clicking, typing, searching, and complex multi-step workflows. Just describe what you want in plain English!
Why does the extension need certain permissions?
Agent OS needs permissions like
